
It
was built during 1903-1904. The tower has a total hight of 45 m.
At the base it has a rectangular section in the exterior with the side of 4.32 m, the interior being realized octagonally, the width of the walls is 80 cm.
From the cote +9.93 m up, the tower is passed to a circular section with a variable diameter on height from 3.90 m measured on the inferior side reducing to 3.0 m on the superior side.
The width of the walls is also variable,
reducing in steps from 80cm at the base to 45 cm under the level of
the circular balcony. Above the circular balcony and until
the base of the decorative cupola the bricklayer of the tower has the
width of 30 cm.

The
access till the platform of the circular balcony is made through a
metallic stair in spiral. The platform of the circular balcony is
realized as a wood floor sustained with metallic cross bars. The
platform is appended with a protection balustrade from forged iron.
The decorative cupola is realized from wood and the cover from
copper foil.
In
the top of the cupola there is an old armory of the city.
The
entrance is made threw a portal with a triangular fronton, having
above it three boxes formed by four carved rock rods, where there
were three texts viewing the construction of the tower and the
context in which it was realized.
The builder of the tower was Vainay Ludovic. Today it is a symbol
of the old town.
The restoration of the tower
was finished in 2005, when with the occasion of the
firemen
day on the 13th of September it was given back
to the touristic circuit.
