International Conference at Massy, France

Between January 12th and 15th, our Mayor - Mr. Iuliu Ilyés - will participate at the CINTE “Medium Sized European Cities” Association’s conference, held in Massy, France.

The president of the association, the Mayor of the city of Massy - Mr. Vincent Delahaye - invited our Mayor to take part at this meeting, in order to get more acquainted with the actions and projects of the network, as well as debating the possibilities for establishing co-operation and partnership relations between Satu Mare and CINTE.

The CINTE (Medium Sized European Cities) network was established in 1990, at the initiative of three European cities, with the goal of promoting the process of European building at a local level. The three founding cities are: Massy (France), L’Hospitalet (Spain) and Faro (Portugal).

Nowadays, the CINTE association reunites seven European cities: Massy (France), L’Hospitalet (Spain), Faro (Portugal), Ascoli-Piceno (Italy), Ydra (Greece), Nyiregyháza (Hungary) and Kajaani (Finland).
