On January 10th 2007, at the City Hall conference room, took place the oath swearing ceremony, on the occasion of the appointment in public service of 36 community policemen.
Among those present at the festivity were the executive director of the institution, Mr. Florin Gazdac, and other officers of the Community Police as witnesses. Also, the Mayor of our city, Mr. Iuliu Ilyés, was invited, as well as representatives from the local press. Mr. Mayor and the executive director had a couple of encouraging words to say to the new community policemen, and wished them success at the start of their new career.
